This movie had me at hello.  It’s a funny, yet touching, story of a quirky and pregnant 16-year old Minnesota girl who wants to give up her unwanted baby to a “perfect” suburban couple.  Most of the movie is spent exploring the complex and entertaining relationships between the title character and her boyfriend, the adoptive parents, her best friend, her dad, and her stepmom.   It kept me entertained from start to finish with its terrific story, brilliant acting (especially breakout star Page), unique soundtrack, and hilarious dialogue.  Juno is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a long time (and my opinion hasn’t changed after seeing it the second time).

Grade: A

Check out Juno’s weirdly good soundtrack on Kimya Dawson - Juno (Music from the Motion Picture)

I haven’t seen Juno yet, but it’s on my Netflix. Knocked Up only had 2 or 3 scenes that made me laugh, and they all involved Paul Rudd. That guy is seriously funny and definately needed more screen time.
